Stone for a Mantoloking house
Mantoloking has been a summer colony since the 1880s, and its signature house is the big shingle style estate, gambrels and cross gables, dormers stacked up the roof, a porch that wraps the corner, a few of the originals drawn by Stanford White. Over the last decade the borough rebuilt itself almost house by house, and the rebuild set a new standard: elevated custom homes finished to a high specification from the studs out, so the oceanfront along Ocean Avenue and the bayfront lagoons and Curtis Point on the Barnegat Bay side are now lined with houses that are either brand new or built to look as though they have always been there. Seven and eight bedroom shingle style homes are still going up with completions into 2027, and every one of them carries a kitchen sized for a full house and stone in most of the baths. We fabricate and install granite, quartz and marble countertops, backsplashes, fireplaces and shower stonework to that standard.
We work with Mantoloking owners and with the architects, builders and designers doing the estate work here, and a house on this scale is usually a long list: a main kitchen with a large island, a second prep or bar area, a stone fireplace surround, and primary and guest baths in matching material. We coordinate selections with the design team, handle templating and fabrication, and sequence the install with the rest of the build.
